1. What this policy covers

This Payment Policy explains how paid Fincast subscriptions work, including access, billing, renewal, cancellation, withdrawal and refunds. Read it together with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. The price, billing period and features of a particular plan are shown before purchase.

2. What you are buying

A subscription grants access for the purchased period to the paid features identified in your plan. These may include statistical estimates for the forecast horizons covered by that plan, comparisons between markets, portfolio assessments and alerts.

You are buying access to information, not a guaranteed result. Forecasts can be wrong. The risk and data limitations in the Terms of Use apply to paid features as well as free ones.

3. Where you buy and who bills you

If you buy a subscription in the iOS app through the App Store, the purchase and payment are processed through Apple under the App Store terms that apply to you. The seller or merchant shown during checkout and on your receipt handles that payment. Fincast receives the information needed to verify the purchase and provide access; we do not receive your payment-card details from Apple.

Fincast does not currently offer direct purchases. If a direct purchase channel is introduced, its checkout will identify the seller, payment provider, price and applicable terms before you pay. This policy will be updated for that channel before it is offered. For questions about Fincast access, you can contact us using section 14.

The Fincast service provider’s public trading name, contact and registration details are listed in Provider Information. That service-provider role is distinct from the merchant shown for an App Store payment.

4. Price, currency and taxes

The price, currency, billing period and any applicable taxes are displayed by the store or checkout before you confirm a purchase. The amount shown there controls that purchase. Prices may vary by location, platform or plan.

5. When access begins

Paid access normally begins once the payment provider confirms the purchase and the subscription is linked to your Fincast account. The features and forecast horizon included in your plan may then be available immediately. Access continues for the purchased period, subject to the Terms of Use and applicable law. Immediate access does not mean that a continuing subscription has been fully performed at the moment of purchase.

6. Renewal and cancellation

Unless the checkout states otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. The renewal price and period are shown before purchase. A change in price applies only to a future renewal after the notice required by the payment platform or applicable law.

For an App Store subscription, turn off automatic renewal in your Apple Account settings. We cannot cancel App Store billing on your behalf. Closing your Fincast account does not cancel it. Cancellation normally stops future renewals, while paid access continues until the end of the current period, subject to any applicable right to withdraw or other legal remedy.

7. Consumer withdrawal rights

Consumers in the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. Whether and when an exception applies depends on the nature of what was purchased, the purchase flow and applicable law. Immediate access to subscription features alone does not automatically end that right.

Where the law permits us to begin supplying a service during the withdrawal period at your express request, a permitted deduction for service already supplied may apply if you then withdraw. A right of withdrawal ends early only when the legal conditions for that result are met, including any required prior consent, acknowledgement and purchase confirmation. The checkout must obtain these where required; this policy does not assert that they have been obtained for every purchase.

For an App Store purchase, use Apple’s purchase-support process and contact us if you need help with Fincast access or with exercising a right against the service provider. This section does not limit any mandatory consumer remedy for a service that is not supplied or does not conform to the contract.

8. Refunds

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically refund the current period. Outside a statutory withdrawal, non-conformity or other mandatory remedy, fees for access already supplied are generally not refundable merely because you did not use the features, changed your mind or disagreed with a forecast.

For App Store purchases, request a refund from Apple. Apple processes those requests under its rules. This does not remove any statutory right you may have against the party responsible for the service. If Apple reverses a purchase, the associated paid access may end.

For a problem with the Fincast service itself, contact info@ilterra.com with the purchase details. Any refund or other remedy required by applicable law remains available.

9. If paid access changes or ends

We may change or discontinue features for the reasons described in the Terms of Use. If a change materially reduces paid access during a period you have already bought, or if we stop supplying that access before the period ends, we will provide the notice, termination option, price reduction, refund or other remedy required by applicable law. We will not charge for a renewal period that we know we will not supply.

10. Failed or disputed payments

If a renewal payment fails, the billing platform may retry it under its rules. Paid access may be paused while payment remains outstanding and restored if payment succeeds. Where a payment is reversed or disputed, we may restrict the associated paid access while the matter is investigated. These steps do not remove a right to dispute a charge or seek a remedy available by law.

11. One subscription, one account

A subscription is linked to the Fincast account that first claims it and cannot be used to unlock another account at the same time. If you believe a purchase was linked to the wrong account, contact info@ilterra.com before buying again.

12. Purchase records

We retain the purchase confirmation and subscription status needed to provide paid access and meet legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your payment platform may keep its own transaction records and receipt. This portal’s GitHub history shows changes to the public policy text; it is not a record of your individual purchase or acceptance.

13. Changes to this policy

The current Payment Policy is published at policies.ilterra.com/fincast/payment/, with changes visible in its GitHub history. Updates apply prospectively when published, subject to any advance notice, agreement or later start required by law. A later policy does not remove rights that arose from an earlier purchase.

14. Contact
